David Impastato
Hometown: New Orleans, Louisiana
School: Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, Louisiana
David is a Biological Sciences major at LSU and plans to be a doctor. He is a linebacker on the LSU football team, one of the top college football teams in the U.S. In high school, David was captain of his football team and played quarterback and wide receiver. He was also a forward on his high school's basketball team and a sprinter on the track team. David also found time to be the senior class president. David is from New Orleans and his family had to evacuate when Hurricane Katrina hit when he was a senior in high school.
Alli Szutu
Hometown: Castro Valley, California
School: University of California at Berkeley
Alli is an Academic All American in gymnastics, majoring in Social Welfare. She received a full scholarship to Cal for gymnastics where she competed in the All-Around. In high school, she placed fourth in the nation in the vault. She coached gymnastics to kids from 3-17 years old. Alli was a camp director at a winter camp for disabled and disadvantaged children where she led them on cross-country ski trips. She is also doing an internship in Guatemala this summer.
Eric Dunipace
Hometown: Castro Valley, California
School: University of California at Berkeley
Eric majored in Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley and received the Outstanding Immunologist Award at graduation. He was co-captain of Cal's swimming team which placed in the top four in the U.S. Eric competed at the U.S. Olympic trials. He plays the guitar and trumpet, was a member of the jazz and concert bands in high school and is currently plays in a band in his free time.
Mimi Farber
Hometown: San Jose, California
School: University of California at Davis
Mimi is double majoring in Psychology and Communications. She is captain of the Davis dance team which performs at football and basketball games at Davis, and her team placed in the top five at nationals. Mimi was captain of her high school cheerleading team. She has been dancing since the age of three and is trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and contemporary. She was a coach for the Universal Dance Association (UDA), traveling to different states teaching high school teams pom technique, jazz and hip hop routines and technique. She also teaches hip hop, jazz and ballet to kids in kindergarten through high school.
Julian Cisneros
Hometown: Salinas, California
School: University of California at Davis
Julian is graduating this June with a major in Exercise Biology. He is an athletic trainer for the Davis athletic department and is a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He was a star soccer player and captain of his high school team, earning his team's MVP award and was selected to his section's All star team. Julian also played tennis in high school and was on the cross country team. He was a camp director for Skyhawks Sports Camp, one of the largest sports camp organizations in the U.S., and has coached kids from ages 5- 15 years old in soccer for many years.
Kaitlin Duncan
Hometown: San Diego, California
School: University of California at Berkeley
Kaitlin is a Political Science major at UC Berkeley with an emphasis in Asian politics. She is a midfielder on Cal's field hockey team and was an all league soccer and softball player in high school. Kaitlin was involved in student government in junior high school and high school. She has coached kids from kindergarten to high school in soccer, softball and field hockey.
Ashley Bocast
Hometown: Durham, California
School: California State University at Chico
Ashley is graduating this June with a major in Recreation and Parks Management with an emphasis in special event planning and tourism. She was captain of her university's women's rugby team which was nationally ranked. Ashley also played field hockey in college. In high school, she was the league's MVP in field hockey, competed on the track team and was her high school's mascot at football and basketball games. She has coached kids in field hockey, snowboarding and skiing. She attend girl scouts camp every summer in elementary and junior high school. She is the assistant director at a day care center for preschoolers and elementary school kids.

Alyssa Burton
Hometown: Palo Alto, California
School: Palo Alto High School, Palo Alto, California
Alyssa is graduating this June and will attend the University of California at Riverside in the fall. She has been dancing since the age of three and has been dancing competitively for seven years, winning many awards. Alyssa dances ballet, Pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and even a little bit of ballroom dancing. She was a member of her high school's dance team which performed at football and basketball games. She has been playing the flute for seven years and is in the school band as well as the pep band. Alyssa is a dance instructor for kids ages 4-12 and has choreographed kids for dance shows. She visited Japan last year on a school excursion and is taking Japanese classes.
Clancy Stahr
Hometown: Falls Church, Virginia
School: Phillips Exeter Academy, Exeter, New Hampshire
Clancey attends Exeter Academy on the East Coast which is one of the most prestigious prep schools in the U.S and maintains a 3.9 GPA. Clancey is on the crew team and the cross country team at Exeter. He also plays a lot of basketball and is an avid skier. He plays the ocarina which is an ancient clay wind instrument and he can solve Rubik's cube in less than 90 seconds! Clancey is taking Japanese classes at his high school and tutors peers and children in his spare time.
Grant Sauer
Hometown: Palo Alto, California
School: Palo Alto High School, Palo Alto, California
Grant will be a junior in the fall and is a defensive midfielder and was selected to join his high school's varsity soccer team as a sophomore. The team was co-champions in California's Central Coast Region which includes 150 high schools. He is a member of his high school's Key Club, a service organization through which he volunteers at school and community events. Grant is a member of his school's juggling club and one of his hobbies is break-dancing. He is a kids' soccer coach and is taking Japanese classes.
Stephen Fagerness
Hometown: Sacramento, California
School: Rancho Cordova High School, Sacramento, California
Stephen maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA in high school and will be attending UC Davis in the fall. He was a defensive end on his high school's football team and was a member of his high school string orchestra. He has played the cello since the fourth grade and has been in Boy Scouts since first grade.
